About Me
With over 20 years of experience in the Health and Social Care sector, I bring a depth of knowledge and dedication to supporting individuals across the life span. Such as children, young people, and adults, through complex and often challenging circumstances.

As a highly qualified experienced Social Worker, my professional journey has encompassed work with children, young people, adults living with educational needs, disabilities, mental health and complex needs, as well as older individuals living with cognitive impairments, such as Alzheimer's, stroke and brain injuries.

My practice is underpinned by a therapeutic, person-centred, and inclusive approach. I strongly believe that every individual deserves to be seen, heard, and supported in a way that recognises their unique strengths, values and lived experiences.

I work collaboratively with individuals, families, legal professionals, and care providers to ensure that all assessments are conducted with the highest level of professionalism, sensitivity and adherence to the Mental Capacity Act (2005). My aim is always to empower individuals, protect rights, and support informed decision making.

My professional background spans both local authority and private sector roles, where I have developed specialist expertise in supporting individuals. I have extensive experience in conducting Mental Capacity Assessments for a range of legal and clinical purposes, including Lasting Powers of Attorney (LPAs), Deputyship applications, Testamentary capacity, and financial decision-making, Social Care Needs Assessments, Brokerage and retrospective court reports.
I am an accredited Financial Vulnerability assessor, Montreal Cognitive Assessor (MoCA) a widely used cognitive screening tool that supports the evaluation of memory, attention, executive function, and other cognitive domains. This enables integration of cognitive screening effectively into the Mental Capacity Assessments, particularly in cases involving complex decision-making or suspected cognitive decline.
